Arcadia

P&O’s Arcadia arrived bright & early this morning, but not as early as it was scheduled to! The Sydney Ports daily movements schedule last night had her arriving at 5:30am – far too early for a work day, however the Marine Traffic website showed her going past the Opera House around 6:30am. Bugger.

So, here’s the standard Overseas Passenger Terminal shot, taken from the Cahill Expressway.

Oriana Arrives

Oriana pulled into Circular Quay this morning on the current leg of it’s world cruise. It is due to depart on Friday night heading towards Lyttelton.

Radiance of the Seas – February 2012

We booked this cruise within days of returning from our first cruise on the Pacific Pearl 12 months ago, & while we paid more than we should of (had we waited until much closer to the departure date we could have saved several hundred between the two of us), it was well worth it!

The voyage started off in Sydney before sailing down the coast to Melbourne where we had over 24 hours. From Melbourne we crossed Bass Straight towards Tasmania, & into Hobart where we also had over 24 hours. When we left Hobart it was the beginning of the end of the cruise as the final leg was straight back to Sydney.

All up we enjoyed 7 nights on board – excellent service, food, & company – what more can one ask for!

Business Trip to Adelaide

As with all business trips, seeing the town that you’re visiting is not high on the list of priorities. On this flying trip a quick walk around a couple of blocks between meetings was the only opportunity to get some shots.
